TRAVEL MUST HAVE KIT
All You Need To Know
Developed by founders Hinshara and Yuba (also devout followers of Lorraine Massey’s Curly Girl Method) to fill the void of good quality CG-friendly products in India, our Travel Must-Have Kit is perfect for you if work means travelling or if you’ve been bitten by the wanderlust bug.
Perfectly curated to give you everything a good haircare routine needs, the Kit comes with a cleanser that moisturises, a conditioner that is protein and moisture balanced and can be used as a deep conditioner as well, and two stylers – the Curl Cream and Volume Gel – that ensure your washday results are always on point. The Kit also contains a Turban Towel with both microfibre and combed cotton layers and a Satin Pillowcap that fits all pillow sizes, so your hair is protected while drying and during sleeping. We’ve also added a versatile headchie that can be used as a scrunchie or as a headband, so you’re not missing your accessories.
Washing/Conditioning
Wet hair. Emulsify a small amount of shampoo in your hands and massage into your wet scalp. Rinse well. Repeat if required. Divide your hair into two or more sections. Emulsify a coin-size amount of conditioner in your palms and apply it to the lengths of your dripping wet hair. Let it sit in your hair for a few minutes as you detangle. Rinse well.
Styling
After rinsing out the conditioner, evenly apply a small amount of Curl Cream to your hair, rake or brush for even distribution. Next, glaze the required amount of gel over the lengths of your hair using praying hands motion. Gently scrunch. Wrap your hair in the Turban Towel for no more than a few minutes to absorb excess water. Air dry or diffuse. Shake the roots, fluff, and scrunch out the cast (SOTC) once your hair is 100% dry.
Nighttime Protection
Use the Satin Pillowcap on any pillow to keep your hair protected when you sleep. You can use the headchie to pineapple your hair.
Moisturising Shampoo
Baobab protein: Strengthens and repairs your hair and helps prevent frizz, leading to increased volume, shine and manageability.
Seaweed extract: Helps improve hair texture, reduce frizz, enhance curl definition and add shine.
Marshmallow extract: Reduces hair breakage, eases detangling, fights frizz and improves manageability.
Multipurpose Conditioner
Phytokeratin: Strengthens and repairs the hair shaft, restoring the hair’s elasticity and reducing breakage and split ends.
Argan oil: Reduces frizz and boosts shine and vibrancy.
Wavemax®: Forms a protective coating over the hair fibre, improving curl protection and curl maintenance, increasing volume and reducing frizz.
Curl Cream
Rice extract: Enhances strength and shine by fostering growth and minimising frizz, leaving hair resilient and lustrous.
Amino acids & lipids: Restore and repair, resulting in increased strength, manageability, and radiance.
Avocado oil: Moisturises, aids in detangling, and shields against environmental damage, ensuring your hair stays nourished and protected.
Volume Gel
Flaxseed & chia seed extract: Strengthens, prevents breakage and provides a natural, flexible hold. Agave nectar: Delivers deep hydration and moisture, reducing frizz and protecting against split ends for smoother, radiant hair.
Aloe vera extract: Hydrates and soothes, promoting hair growth and enhancing shine.
