Day 6 – Dear Mane Family, A Sick Day… and a Sweet Discovery

Hey Mane Family,

Confession time — I ghosted you this Friday and Saturday.
Not on purpose! I was curled up in bed with a runny nose, zero energy, and no curls on display. Just a very dramatic blanket burrito situation.

But you know what they say — when the body rests, the mind scrolls. And somewhere between coughing fits and hot water with turmeric, I found something pretty cool.

It’s this:
Manetain's Build Your Own Bundle

You know how we always end up buying random products hoping they’ll finally work on our curls, only to have a shelf full of regrets? Yeah, same.

But this BYOB (Build Your Bundle) thing? Total game-changer.
You can pick what your hair needs — like gels, leave-ins, conditioners — and build a little care package, minus the waste and guesswork. Also, discounts. Which my broken, post-illness self deeply appreciates.

I’ve been on a quiet mission to maintain curly hair in a way that feels joyful, not exhausting. And honestly? Brands like Manetain — one of the best curly hair products in India (also featured on Shark Tank for curly hair care, btw) — make that journey feel a little easier.

I'm already eyeing a new co-wash and maybe their satin scrunchies too. And the best curly hair conditioner I can find in that bundle. Because I deserve soft things, especially after surviving back-to-back paracetamol and instant soup.

Healthy hair is self-care.
Anyway, I’m slowly recovering. Hair’s still in a pineapple bun, but I’ve bookmarked my bundle for when I’m ready to bounce back — literally.

See you tomorrow with curls (hopefully) and more stories.

With love (and steam inhalation),

Day 7 – Dear Mane Family, Today My Hair Took Up Space… and So Did I

It started with a mirror. And a decision. I stood there, half-wet curls, mirror foggy from my shower, holding a hair tie in one hand and a habit in the other. That voice popped up — the one that wh...
