Dear Mane Family,
Let me introduce myself—or maybe not just yet. Let’s say I’m a girl somewhere in India, mid-20s, who writes for a living but thinks too much and feels even more. And yes, I have a head full of curly hair that’s been through as many struggles as I have.

Honestly, I never really liked my hair growing up. It was always a mess that I had to tie up, hide, flatten, or tame. I thought maybe it was just “too much.” But lately, I’ve been wondering if maybe the mess isn’t something to fix but something to understand.
