Scalp Scrub, ACV Rinse, and Hair Oil: What Each Does and When to Use It

Beforeshampooing, start with the scalp scrub. Massage it into a wet scalp, and leave it on for two to four minutes. The Himalayan sea salt is going to sweep away build-up, and cactus extract and willow bark soothe any itchiness underneath. It is one of the best scalp scrubs for oily scalps.

Our clarifying shampoo has AHA, therefore it helps in chemically exfoliating your scalp. The scalp scrub, on the other hand, is a good choice for physical exfoliation. Rinse it out and then follow up with your shampoo and conditioner. For more detail on technique, see our full scalp exfoliation guide.

Next comes the apple cider vinegar rinse. Apply on scalp and hair before after shampooing (every two weeks), it seals the cuticle, balances scalp pH, and leaves your hair strands smoother without stripping moisture. If you have ever wondered about ACV hair rinse benefits, shine and reduced frizz are the two most visible results. Leave it on for a couple of minutes, rinse, and then move on with your conditioner.

After that, we have the multipurpose hair oil. It is a blend of Jamaican black castor oil, rosemary, and black seed oil that sinks in without weighing your hair down. Warm a few drops between your palms and work it into your scalp and lengths before wash day as a pre-wash treatment. In fact, the Multipurpose Hair Oil is endlessly versatile. You can use a little to add a finishing touch while styling, or mix a few drops into your conditioner or deep treatment for an extra boost.

It strengthens follicles, adds shine, and absorbs without heaviness. If you're trying to figure out how to use hair oil for curly hair, you can use it for scalp massage before shampoo, mix a few drops into your deep conditioner, or even use it for a finishing touch.
