Manetain Clarifying Shampoo

About

The first step in any CGM routine, you cannot start on the Curly Girl Method without first clarifying your hair. Thereafter, clarifying is recommended at least once a month (even twice a month, if needed). Developed by founders Hinshara and Yuba (devout followers of Lorraine Massey’s Curly Girl Method) to fill the void of good quality CG-friendly products in India, Manetain’s Clarifying Shampoo contains fruit-based AHAs that help cleanse and repair, while the aloe vera in our purifying shampoo helps to nourish and moisturise.

If you’ve just started on the CG method and are unsure as to why you often have frizzy, stringy, or limp hair; perhaps you need to incorporate a good clarifying shampoo into your fortnightly wash routine.

Ingredient List

Fruit-based AHAs:

Nature’s exfoliants, fruit-based AHAs are derived from sugarcane (glycolic acid), apples (malic acid), and citrus fruits (citric acid), among others, and help product build-up, sebum, dead skin cells, hard water deposits, and dirt.

Aloe vera:

From hydrating and moisturising hair to soothing scalp irritation and itchiness, and even promoting hair growth by improving blood circulation to the scalp, aloe vera is a superhero ingredient with innumerable benefits for hair.

Orange essential oil:

Refreshes and revitalises the senses, while also promoting blood circulation to the scalp. The antioxidants in the essential oil help to nourish and strengthen your hair. Among the many other benefits are shinier curls, dandruff control, and a good detox.
