Developed by Founders Hinshara and Yuba, Manetain’s refreshingly lightweight, water-based Mousse, the Multipurpose Hair Oil with 12 natural oils, and the detoxifying Scalp Scrub that purifies and soothes, have been formulated to address everyday concerns of curlies and wavies.
The Mousse comes packed with ginseng, nettle, neroli, and bergamot, and is a great option for people with fine hair as it doesn’t weigh your hair down like creams and gels. Best used as one-and-done styler or for a quick refresh, our volume-boosting mousse is the ultimate companion for effortlessly gorgeous and voluminous hair.
Infused with the goodness of Jamaican black castor, rosemary, black seed, sweet almond, pumpkin seed, wheatgerm, coconut, jojoba, argan, and clary sage oils, among others, the Oil offers complete nourishment for your hair and scalp as it penetrates deep into the scalp to strengthen hair follicles, combatting everyday problems like hair fall, breakage, split-ends, etc., and protecting your hair from environmental aggressors.
And finally, the Scalp Scrub, which has been formulated with Himalayan sea salt that purifies, exfoliates and detoxifies, leaving your scalp refreshed and rejuvenated and your hair revitalised; cactus extract that deeply hydrates and soothes, while nourishing your scalp and hair with essential vitamins and antioxidants; and willow bark extract that not only ensures a squeaky-clean scalp with its exfoliating properties but also soothes and calms.
Mousse : Glaze an adequate amount of mousse over cleansed and conditioned, sectioned hair. Scrunch gently to enhance natural texture and add volume. Air dry or diffuse. *Can be used as a one-and-done styler.
Multipurpose Hair Oil: Massage a small amount of oil into scalp and hair. *Can be used for routine scalp massages, deep conditioning, detangling pre-poo, and for scrunching out the cast. **Use with our Heat Caps, for hot oil treatments.
Scalp Scrub : Gently massage an adequate amount of the scrub into a cleansed, wet scalp, using your fingertips. Leave on for 2 to 4 minutes. Rinse well, while continuing to massage scalp with fingertips. *Follow with our Multipurpose Conditioner or either of our ultimate hair treatments.
Hair Volume Complex: Formulated with ginseng, honey locust, and white nettle, the amino acids, flavonoids, tannins, and B vitamins in the Complex volumize, restore, and strengthen hair and rejuvenate the scalp.
Neroli Hydrosol: Antimicrobial, refreshing, and revitalising, neroli hydrosol soothes scalp irritation, balances oil production, and enhances hair strength and shine.
Bergamot Oil: Also antimicrobial, bergamot oil promotes hair growth, regulates oil production, and adds shine to hair. Its uplifting fragrance helps alleviate stress.
Jamaican Black Castor Oil: Rich in nutrients like omega-6 fatty acids and vitamin E, Jamaican black castor oil nourishes hair follicles and improves circulation to the scalp, leading to stronger, fuller hair.
Rosemary Oil: Rosemary oil promotes blood circulation to the scalp, encouraging hair follicles to produce stronger and healthier strands. It also helps prevent hair thinning by contributing to a healthier scalp environment.
Black Seed Oil: Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and fatty acids, black seed oil not only strengthens hair but also reduces scalp inflammation.
Himalayan Sea Salt: Himalayan sea salt helps exfoliate the scalp, removing dead skin cells and buildup that can clog hair follicles and lead to issues like dandruff or itchiness. Regular use ensures a revitalised and balanced scalp and stronger, shiny and frizz-free hair.
Cactus Extract: A hydrating powerhouse, cactus extract is rich in vitamins and antioxidants and helps moisturise and nourish both scalp and hair. Extremely beneficial for people with a dry or itchy scalp, cactus extract soothes and refreshes the scalp.
Willow Bark Extract: Willow bark extract contains salicylic acid, which helps gently exfoliate the scalp, removing buildup and flakes. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe the scalp, reducing irritation.

Are these products safe for children and pregnant women?
Yes, the Mousse, the Multipurpose Hair Oil, and the Scalp Scrub are safe for pregnant women and children.
Are all three products colour safe?
Yes, all products, including the Scalp Scrub, are colour safe.
When should I use the Mousse?
Use the Mousse as a styler after washing and conditioning your hair. You can use it as a standalone styler or layer it with other stylers.
Will the Oil leave a greasy feeling on my hair?
No. The Multipurpose Hair Oil is a lightweight, non-greasy formula that can be used for styling as well as SOTC. *Use only a few drops when using for styling.
Can I use the Scalp Scrub as a shampoo?
No. The Scalp Scrub should be applied to a clean, wet scalp, after shampooing as a means to detox. Follow with a conditioner after rinsing off the scrub.
I have dermatitis/a sensitive scalp can I still use these products?
While all three products contain ingredients that have antimicrobial properties and soothe the scalp, Manetain does not make medicated products, and we do recommend consulting a doctor before using our products if you have scalp issues.
Are these products unisex?
Yes, all Manetain products are gender inclusive.
