All You Need To Know

Enriched with potent amino acids and advanced polymers that work together to deliver not just maximum definition but also enviable shine and vibrancy, this long-lasting gel is your best defence against frizz, flyaways, and humidity. Infused with the invigorating scent of citrus, this gel not only provides a refreshing styling experience but also guarantees defined curls and waves.
Take the required amount of gel (depending on hair length and texture) and spread it in your palms.
Using the praying hands motion, glaze the gel over sectioned, wet hair to lock in the moisture from our Leave-in Conditioner or Curl Cream.
Gently scrunch your hair, cupping the hair in your hands and lifting to your scalp, for enhanced curl pattern and better definition. Avoid touching your hair once you’ve applied the gel and while drying to minimise frizz.
Air dry or diffuse.
Shake the roots, fluff, and scrunch out the cast (SOTC) once your hair is 100% dry.
*A gel should be the last product you apply in your styling routine. For best results, use our Hard Hold Gel after applying our Leave-in Conditioner or Curl Cream on cleansed and conditioned hair. Use a styling method that works best for your hair.
Polymers:
A great ingredient for combating frizz, polymers form a protective barrier on the hair as well as add volume and thickness to the strands. Additionally, polymers not only aid in detangling but also offer protection against heat styling. The use of polymers in haircare products enhances hair definition and helps retain hairstyles for days.
Amino acids: Amino acids play a crucial role in enhancing hair health as they serve as the fundamental building blocks for the protein keratin, which constitutes the majority of your hair structure. Increased strength and elasticity and reduced breakage and brittleness are just some of the many benefits of amino acids.
Orange essential oil:
With a revitalising and refreshing citrus aroma, orange essential oil is packed with antioxidants that are both nourishing and fortifying for your hair. The essential oil also helps increase shine and radiance.
Can this be used by all hair types?
Yes, the Hard Hold Gel is suitable for all hair types.
Is the product safe for children and pregnant women?
The Hard Hold Gel is safe for pregnant women and children; however, we do not recommend the use of stylers on very young children.
Does the gel form a cast?
Yes. The Hard Hold Gel forms a gel cast.
I have dermatitis/a sensitive scalp can I still use this gel?
Manetain does not make medicated products, and we do recommend consulting a doctor before using our products if you have any medical issues with your scalp or hair.
Is this unisex?
