Developed by founders Hinshara and Yuba (also devout followers of Lorraine Massey’s Curly Girl Method) to fill the void of good quality CG-friendly products in India, Manetain’s Washday Bundle is a great way to keep it simple while you’re still trying to figure out what works for your hair or if you’re still in the initial phase of your CG journey.
While Manetain’s Moisturising Shampoo cleanses without drying out your hair, focussing on both hydration and strengthening, the versatile Multipurpose Conditioner combines the benefits of phytokeratin (protein), argan oil (moisture), and Wavemax® (frizz reduction and curl enhancement), making it the most balanced and all-inclusive conditioner for any haircare routine. When followed with our Curl Cream, which comes packed with deeply moisturising and reparative ingredients, along with our Volume Gel, which contains ingredients that help rejuvenate and invigorate the hair and aid in the recovery of lost radiance, vitality, and shine, you’re left with luscious, frizz-free and radiant hair.
Step 1: Wet hair. Emulsify a small amount of shampoo in your hands and massage into your wet scalp. Adding more water will help in lather formation. Rinse well. Repeat if required.
Step 2: Divide your hair into two or more sections. Emulsify a coin-size amount of conditioner in your palms and apply it to the lengths of your dripping wet hair. Let it sit in your hair for a few minutes as you detangle. Rinse well.
Step 3: Apply a small amount of Curl Cream to your hair after emulsifying well in your hands.
Step 4: Use a brush, comb or your fingers to rake in the product for even distribution, and gently scrunch your hair for enhanced curl pattern and better definition.
Step 5: Glaze the required amount of gel over the lengths of your hair using the praying hands motion.
Step 6: Gently scrunch. Avoid touching your hair once you’ve applied the gel and while drying to minimise frizz.
Step 7: Air dry or diffuse. Shake the roots, fluff, and scrunch out the cast (SOTC) once your hair is 100% dry.
Moisturising Shampoo
Baobab protein: Strengthens and repairs your hair and helps prevent frizz, leading to increased volume, shine and manageability.
Seaweed extract: Helps improve hair texture, reduce frizz, enhance curl definition and add shine. Marshmallow extract: Reduces hair breakage, eases detangling, fights frizz and improves manageability.
Multipurpose Conditioner
Phytokeratin: Strengthens and repairs the hair shaft, restoring the hair’s elasticity and reducing breakage and split ends.
Argan oil: Reduces frizz and boosts shine and vibrancy.
Wavemax®: Forms a protective coating over the hair fibre, improving curl protection and curl maintenance, increasing volume and reducing frizz.
Curl Cream
Rice extract: Enhances strength and shine by fostering growth and minimising frizz, leaving hair resilient and lustrous.
Amino acids & lipids: Restore and repair, resulting in increased strength, manageability, and radiance.
Avocado oil: Moisturises, aids in detangling, and shields against environmental damage, ensuring your hair stays nourished and protected.
Volume Gel
Flaxseed & chia seed extract: Strengthens, prevents breakage and provides a natural, flexible hold.
Agave nectar: Delivers deep hydration and moisture, reducing frizz and protecting against split ends for smoother, radiant hair.
Aloe vera extract: Hydrates and soothes, promoting hair growth and enhancing shine.

Are the products safe for children and pregnant women?
Yes, all four products are safe for pregnant women and children. However, we do not recommend the use of stylers on young toddlers.
Are the products colour safe?

What is the order for using the products?
Cleanse with the Moisturising Shampoo, rinse, and then condition with the Multipurpose Conditioner. Rinse. Follow with the Curl Cream and then the Volume Gel. Do not rinse out stylers.
