Trio Cleanser System
A staple in any CGM routine, our Co-wash was developed by founders Hinshara and Yuba (also devout followers of Lorraine Massey’s Curly Girl Method) to fill the void of good quality CG-friendly products in India. Our Co-wash is ideal for daily cleansing, especially after a workout or a swim. For all other washdays, Manetain’s Moisturising Shampoo cleanses without drying out your hair, focussing on hydration and moisture as well as strength and repair. The Clarifying Shampoo is ideal for a monthly scalp reset or as your first wash if you’re just starting your CG journey.
Co-wash
Peppermint: Naturally cleanses and cools while helping to stimulate growth and promote hair health.
Neem: Soothes scalp, reduces itchiness and irritation, and promotes a healthy scalp environment for healthy hair.
Tea tree oil: Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Moisturising Shampoo
Baobab protein: Strengthens and repairs your hair and helps prevent frizz, leading to increased volume, shine and manageability.
Seaweed extract: Helps improve hair texture, reduce frizz, enhance curl definition and add shine. Marshmallow extract: Reduces hair breakage, eases detangling, fights frizz and improves manageability.
Clarifying Shampoo
Fruit-based AHAs: Help remove product build-up, sebum, dead skin cells, hard water deposits, and dirt, leading to reduced frizz and softer hair.
Aloe vera: Hydrates and moisturises as well as soothes scalp irritation and itchiness.
Orange Essential Oil: Refreshes and revitalises.

Can these be used by all hair types?
The Moisturising and Clarifying Shampoos are suitable for all hair types. The Co-wash is not suited for people with fine or low-density hair.
Are the products safe for children and pregnant women?
The Moisturising and Clarifying Shampoos are safe for pregnant women and children. The Co-wash is not suited for pregnant women and children below the age of five.
Are the cleansers colour safe?
Yes.
Can I use the products together?
We recommend using the Clarifying Shampoo once or twice a month, the Moisturising Shampoo weekly/or twice a week, and the Co-wash if you need to wash your hair daily or very frequently.
Are they unisex?
All Manetain products are gender inclusive.
