All You Need To Know
If you have curly or wavy hair, your hair needs both moisture and protein to help combat daily damage and dryness that textured hair is more prone to. Developed by founders Hinshara and Yuba (also devout followers of Lorraine Massey’s Curly Girl Method) to fill the void of good quality CG-friendly products in India, Manetain’s Healthy Hair Minis is the best way to start your CGM journey and fall in love with your natural hair.
Our Clarifying Shampoo is ideal for a monthly scalp reset or as your first wash if you’re just starting your CG journey. For all other washdays, Manetain’s Moisturising Shampoo cleanses without drying out your hair, focussing on hydration and moisture as well as strength and repair. Our Co-wash is ideal for daily cleansing, especially after a workout or a swim.
Infused with the goodness of phytokeratin (protein), argan oil (moisture), and Wavemax® (frizz reduction and curl enhancement), our Multipurpose Conditioner is the perfect addition to any haircare routine.
Co-wash
Emulsify two to three pumps of Co-wash in your palms. Apply to a wet scalp. Make sure to use your fingertips or a scalp massaging brush to massage the product into the scalp and dislodge dirt and grime. Rinse well, while continuing to massage the scalp. Reapply to the lengths of dripping wet hair as a conditioner. Rinse well.
Moisturising Shampoo
Emulsify a coin size amount in your hands. Adding water will help in lather formation. Massage the shampoo into your wet scalp and sections of your hair. Rinse well from both scalp and hair. Follow with our Multipurpose Conditioner.
Clarifying Shampoo
Massage a coin size amount into your wet scalp. Sectioning your hair will ensure that you are able to cleanse your entire scalp and hair. Rinse well from both scalp and hair. Follow with our Multipurpose Conditioner.
Multipurpose Conditioner
For conditioning, emulsify a coin-size amount of conditioner in your palms before applying it to the lengths of your dripping wet hair. Leave it on for a few minutes. Rinse well. For deep conditioning, let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Rinse well. You can also use the conditioner as a curl cream. Simply emulsify a pea-size amount of conditioner and apply it to the lengths of your dripping wet hair. Spread evenly with a brush, and scrunch it in. Air dry or diffuse.
Co-wash
Peppermint: Naturally cleanses and cools while helping to stimulate growth and promote hair health.
Neem: Soothes scalp, reduces itchiness and irritation, and promotes a healthy scalp environment for healthy hair.
Tea tree oil: Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Moisturising Shampoo
Baobab protein: Strengthens and repairs your hair and helps prevent frizz, leading to increased volume, shine and manageability.
Seaweed extract: Helps improve hair texture, reduce frizz, enhance curl definition and add shine. Marshmallow extract: Reduces hair breakage, eases detangling, fights frizz and improves manageability.
Clarifying Shampoo
Fruit-based AHAs: Help remove product build-up, sebum, dead skin cells, hard water deposits, and dirt, leading to reduced frizz and softer hair.
Aloe vera: Hydrates and moisturises as well as soothes scalp irritation and itchiness.
Orange Essential Oil: Refreshes and revitalises.
Multipurpose Conditioner
Phytokeratin: Strengthens and repairs the hair shaft, restoring the hair’s elasticity and reducing breakage and split ends.
Argan oil: Reduces frizz and boosts shine and vibrancy.
Wavemax®: Forms a protective coating over the hair fibre, improving curl protection and curl maintenance, increasing volume and reducing frizz.

Can these be used by all hair types?
The Moisturising and Clarifying Shampoos as well as the Multipurpose Conditioner are suitable for all hair types. The Co-wash is not suited for people with fine or low-density hair.
Are the products safe for children and pregnant women?
The Moisturising and Clarifying Shampoos as well as the Multipurpose Conditioner are safe for pregnant women and children. The Co-wash is not suited for pregnant women and children below the age of five.
Are the products colour safe?
Yes.
Can I use the products together?
We recommend using the Clarifying Shampoo once or twice a month, the Moisturising Shampoo weekly/or twice a week, and the Co-wash if you need to wash your hair daily or very frequently. You can follow all cleansers with the Multipurpose Conditioner.
Are they unisex?
