What is the difference between silk and mulberry silk?
Silk is derived from the cocoons of silkworms, regardless of the plants they feed on. Mulberry silk is derived from the cocoons of silkworms that feed exclusively on mulberry tree leaves. This makes mulberry silk more refined as it is made of almost identical, long fibres.
Do I need to wear a bonnet if I use the pillowcase?
Ideally, yes. For curl retention, reduced frizz, and longer gaps between wash days, we recommend wearing a satin/silk bonnet and using a satin/silk pillowcase. However, using either one will also provide some of these benefits.
Is the pillowcase washable?
We recommend dry-cleaning our silk products.
